The CIVL has received the following bids for the 2024 championships. They will be approved – or not – by the 2022 plenary.

• 18th FAI European Paragliding Championships – Pegalajar, Andalucia, Spain. June 14-27.
• 1st FAI World Junior Paragliding Championships – Tolmin, Slovenia. August 18-31.
• 8th FAI European Paragliding Accuracy Championships – Leningrad Region, Russia. September 12-21.
• 6th FAI Pan American Paragliding Championships – Sierra del Velazco, La Rioja, Argentina. October 5-12.

There was no bid for the following championships. For them, the new bid deadline is December 31.

2023

• PG Aerobatics World
• HG XC 5-Sport-Women World

2024

• HG XC 1 European
• PG Accuracy Pan-American, and  Asian-Oceanian
• PG XC Asian-Oceanian

The CIVL has also received the following bid for a 2022 championship :

• 21st FAI World Hang Gliding Class 2 Championship. Aspres-sur-Buesch, France. July 23 to August 6.

The bid will be approved – or not – by the CIVL Bureau in a few days. If approved, the 2022 plenary will have to confirm the Bureau decision.
