CIVL Plenary 2023 has awarded the 8th FAI European Paragliding Accuracy Championship 2024 to be held in Gjirokastra, Albania. For the past 20 years, the organizers of this event has held over 20 successful international events among which were the PGA World Championship in Vlora in 2017,  Albania Open, and 4-6 FAI Class 2 Events every year. The Gjirokaster area is well known for cross-country competition and accuracy. Gjiro Open Air competition and festival is held there every year. 

The proposed dates for the European Championship are 4 – 13 October 2024.

Proposed dates for the Test Event are: 05-08 October 2023
