The opening ceremony took place in Feltre. Pilots followed by Palio gerolds of the 4 districts of the city proceeded to the central square.

The event turned into great festival for the whole country. Thousands of people came to see the ceremony. The participants were greeted by the major of the city and governor of the provice.
