Drone Racing World Cup
Edition 2025
The Drone Racing World Cup concerns the F9U class (Drone Racing). The World Cup rules are defined in Chapter A of the Volume F9 Drone Sport, and the F9U class rules are defined in Chapter C.
Open International World Cup competitions are FAI second category events based on individual participation (no national team representing a NAC). Any person holding a valid FAI Sporting Licence or FAI Drone Permission can be eligible for the Drone Racing World Cup ranking.
Two Drone Racing World Cup competitions may be organized every year for any country. For a country which extends over more than three time zones, one World Cup competition may be organised within each time zone of the country with a maximum of four competitions for the country concerned.

10 Drone Racing World Cup competitions from 10 different countries are actually registered on the FAI Calendar for the year 2025.
